Wojciech Kuczok (born 1972) is a poet and prose writer. His first book, a collection of short stories entitled Overheard Tales, was nominated for the NIKE Prize and won the Polish Society of Publishers Prize for 2000. In 2002 he published his second collection of stories, Skeleton Women. Kuczok also writes film criticism for “Tygodnik Powszechny” and the monthly journal “Kino”; he is currently a doctoral student in film studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Muck has recently won the NIKE reader’s prize, and his latest book, WidmokrÄ…g has just been published.
